Sultana Projects offers a wide variety of John Smith related educational materials for use in the classroom. Developed in conjunction with the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and actual classroom teachers, Sultana's educational materials meet MSDE's voluntary guides for standards and content and are designed to be easily integrated into a classroom setting.

The following materials are available free of charge to classroom teachers and schools (pending availability):

·       Echoes of 1608 Classroom Poster - a full-sized wall poster featuring a large version of John Smith's 1612 map of the Chesapeake as well as interpretative information about Smith's voyage.

·       Exploring the Chesapeake, 400 Years Ago and Today - a full-sized National Geographic poster that contains detailed descriptions of Captain John Smith’s 1608 voyages as well as information about the modern challenges facing the estuary in the 21st century
